On 14th January 2007 we recorded a very special castle concert with Grammy award winner & current Grammy Nominee - Jim Lauderdale, at his ancestral home, Thirlestane Castle in Lauder. It was a very special night for Jim and a great show. It was broadcast on Brand New Country on 13th April to mark Jim's 50th birthday. It's a beautiful castle and well worth a visit. Check the Thirlestane Castle website for more details.

The Glasgow Celtic Connections Festival in January was the source of many more interviews & sessions - Mary Chapin Carpenter, Crooked Still, a live appearance on Brand New Country on 2nd February by Julie Roberts and Jace Everett and house concert by Jon Randall and Jim Lauderdale.

The Jon Randall house concert was amazing, recorded in a very intimate setting in front of a small but enthusiatic audience Jon and fiance Jessi Alexander performed for 2 hours. This was broadcast in March.
